Diesel manual wagon for sale on CL! Wait - weren’t TDI wagons all autos in the US? “... had its automatic transmission fail, I installed a 6 speed European Passat TDI transmission...” Why sell then? “...so that I can complete my Audi Allroad TDI conversion project.” I’m half-tempted to send a message asking them to start posting here. He needs a GoFundMe and maybe an intervention

Intervention yes. I think selling the Passat is the GoFundMe equivalent.

If you remove the 2. 7TT and air suspension from an Allroad , is it really still an Allroad?

I haven’t updated the engine software for a manual transmission yet-Malone tuning or Kerma TDI sells the software to do this for pretty cheap and at the same time you can “chip” the engine module for more horsepower and torque-basically the manual transmission software change is a $150 add-on to a “chip” tune.
“just needs”
“cheap”
“easy double tha powah”
Promises, promises.

Yep, on our usual list of places to go to escape the heat in Houston and ski on the cheap. And I can get green chilies on basically everything.

Awesome. I actually live about an hour away in a smaller town. I basically only ever go into Santa Fe to go to doctors or the big box
home improvements stores so I don’t really have any suggestions
but it sounds like you have it covered. I do recommend
staying at the Inn at Lor
et
to at least once. I do enjoy the cheap skiing - I’ll hopefully be at Pajarito each of the next two Saturdays. PS - if you are an REI member you can get discounted lift tickets in store at the Railyard District.

You’re just left with run of the mill VAG problems.

I love Pajarito. It is fantastic skiing (and cheap) so long as there has been a storm recently.

We got it pretty much all at once this year. Last weekend was great because they got several inches Friday. No snow this week but I’m thinking it will still be OK this weekend. If we don’t get any more soon though it could get a little ugly.

Pajarito gets rough after a few weeks without snow. Have you found your way to Wolf Creek yet?

Not yet, but a lot of people from here head up that way pretty often. Its on my list - hopefully later this year when things are melting here but they still have snow up there.

what’s he doing to the All-Road?

Swapping out the 2.7T V6
gas engine that was standard in the US with some sort of diesel. He didn’t specify which but I’m assuming with the level of crazy in the Passat ad that he probably imported a 2.5 V6 TDI.
